Call to Rio today...having a GMT makes me wish for another. This watch illness is clearly degenerative.

Dial is just stunning. Overjoyed with this one. It is 45mm with same thickness as my POXL 2500.

Today holiday. Traditional bavarian clothes. So I decided to wear a German watch: STOWA Chrono.

Newly arrived. Seller's photos, as I haven't been able to get a decent photo that captures the dial on my iphone in office lighting:
I'm sure some people here can identify the seller....
I'll do a proper "incoming" thread soon with all of the details.

A bit of warmth on a chilly day in Aus -- Cambodia (with something a little more robust on my wrist) tomorrow

And...

Rutledge? Along with the Pinehurst (with the AGN dial), I've had my eye on one of those for quite some time.

I'm wearing the usual Speedy Gonzales (bottom of pic) at the office...BUT the other dude (pilot) is wearing his Timex mechanical hand wind (top of pic) which his parents purchased for him at Sears in 1969 when he was 10. His Timex has never been serviced in 46 years of use and it keeps excellent time!

Incredible!

👍

Remember the Canadian commercials with the Timex strapped to the ski of a snowmobile, being put through its' paces. As they stop, the presenter holds up the working watch and says, "Timex takes a licking and keeps on ticking".
