Probably Moon time on the Moon…but I’m not 100% sure about that.

Oh dear! Which one to choose! I settled on my 23-jewel, Waltham Vanguard with the wind indicator. Give or take a year, 100 years old this year. I recently had a dufuss drop this one. Fortunately, he was seated, and it landed on carpet! So no damage.

Been a while since I’ve posted here. The 145.012 speedy has been on my wrist for 3 plus weeks straight. It’s a Very legible, no-nonsense timepiece.
In the Background is one of Von Richthofen’s DR.1 triplanes. 16” span Rubber powered scale, balsa and tissue free flight model, weighing 27 grams.

As near as I can determine, the two I’ll wear today are both 60 years old. (The Omega is 70 years old, the Accutron is 60). I am the second owner of both of them. The Omega jumbo is in a rose gold filled case, and it has a calibre 256 manual wind movement in it. Bison hide strap.

The Accutron railroader was bought NOS by a friend of mine about 30 years ago. How it remained in the jeweller’s inventory is a puzzle to me. It is a calibre 214 tuning fork movement, 24-hour “Canadian” dial. We’re planning our annual railroad standard watch (pocket & wrist), and clock display at our Heritage Park in a few short weeks. So l’ll likely wear this one until showtime.
