Did you ever have difficulty deciding which watch to wear? I had that problem today. So, I opened up the vault, opened one of my cabinets, and decided to allow a watch to make up my mind. This is the one that chose to be pressed into service. This is a virtually NOS Bulova Accutron from 1964. I can only conclude that it was an unsatisfactory performer by the late 1960s, and the owner (at that time) was unable to find someone to return it to health. This one found its way to me from MB poster @Laneside from Scotland. I too was unsuccessful in curing the problem caused by a rusty Accutron 214 movement, so I went to my stash and serviced a replacement movement, and voila! Love it! Unique in one way. A gold shell case which I rarely see on Accutrons.
