Went to Paris and picked up a watch I purchased a while back. Great to have it on the wrist after all this time!

Trying to pick a dinner watch from my father and father-inlaw’s collection of inherited watches. Favoring the slimmer Lord Elgin.

I only wear this once a year on Father’s Day.
Reminds me of my old man! 😎

Happy Father’s Day everyone!

U-50 Press Pit timer today. Got some decent footage of Dru Hill tossing roses at their fans.

153 year old Illinois.

With the Illinois model 1 posted by @Waltesefalcon , it occurred to me it was time for another pocket watch. I didn’t wear this one today, but we’re planning a delayed Father’s Day celebration on Monday (tomorrow). I’ve shown this one before. It was made circa 1914, series XI, 21- jewels. The series XI Keystone Howard is not a grail watch for Keystone Howard collectors. The movement design is based on a New York Standard movement (Keystone owned NYS), and the NYS watches were sort of low end. This movement strongly resembles a NYS movement. Not as “pretty” as other Keystone Howard movements, but I like it. It has perhaps one of my favourite dials. One of many watches in my collection that “found” me.
