We were camping for three days, in an area frequented by scorpions, black widow spiders, rattlesnakes, and poisonous cactii. So I wore a beater, owing to the fact I harmed my Speedmaster automatic the last time we camped. You might wonder, were we in Arizona, New Mexico, or Nevada. No! We were in Dinosaur Provincial Park in East Central Alberta. The largest site in Canada for prehistoric fossils.

My retro 1963 Seagull. Seagull acquired the Venus 175 tooling in the early 60s, and of course copied the movement for the watches issued to their Pilots. Very similar to the RCAF Rodania.
