Recently a second AD opened up in my relatively small city and pushed the first one out of business. However, the old one got bought out and has reopened as a used watch dealer, which we didn't have before so net positive. Here's a Sub I tried on today.

With a very cool Speedy display in the window...

The one on the right is a 1966 Ed White for $18,800 AUD.

Date/no date. I put my Rolex Date-Just away, and decided to wear my Certina. Bought at a farm yard garage sale. She wanted 50 cents, but all I had was a toonie ($2.00 coin), so that is what I paid. I spent the equivalent of about $200.00 in resuscitating it. Refinish the horrible dial, new rotor post, new mainspring, crystal, crown, recondition, chrome plate the case. I don’t need to be told it isn’t perfect. I know it! The 21-jewel Kurth Freres movement is a good performer, and I like the watch.
