I’m on a mission to find the best fitting watch(for me of course lol)… I was fortunate to try an IWC Ingenuir, Piaget Polo, and a Gerard Perregaux Laureato 38mm & 41mm all integrated bracelet watches all at the same time… in the end I chose this Chopard Alpine Eagle 41mm. By the way my wrist is 7.25” for reference 😀.

Congratulations that's very different, I like it.

Mrs. noelekal began caring for a young, sweet natured stray a little over a year ago. It emerged that a near neighbor behind us had laid claim to the cat.

It got better groceries and care over here so gravitated to our back porch. It became a war of wills when Mrs. noelekal offered to have the cat neutered and the “owners” kept putting her off, saying they would “get around to it.” Two litters later, they had not rectified the situation. When pressed again recently Mrs. noelekal was told that she wouldn’t have to concern herself with the cat after May first for they were moving to the country and were going to make it into a”barn cat” to keep down mice.

The day of the move they capitulated and awarded Mrs. noelekal the cat and two of seven kittens, taking the rest away with them.

Very irresponsible and neglectful people.

Penny, the Cat will soon have her appointment at the vet so as to go out of the kitten business.

Penny as a half grown kitten March a year ago.

You better keep an eye on that first kitten. He already has seen your Speedmaster. You can never trust a cat. :ban-cat:

It had to happen! My Speedmaster ran down today, after nine days on the wrist. That, plus everytime I wrote the date today, I wrote 6th, not 5th! So out comes my one owner (me) 1971 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King Date. I won this watch in a Rolex sales contest in 1971. It came directly from Rolex with a $215.00 (MSRP) price ticket on it. What does an Air-King Date go for, today? In 2021, I’d owned it 50 years. It occurred to me that in my stash, I had a new old stock 14-karat yellow gold Rolex bezel. No idea where or when I acquired it, but the package it was in had a $550.00 (Cdn.) price on it. So I put it on my Air King, and the watch became my 50th anniversary Rolex. Bracelet is aftermarket because our son destroyed the original bracelet after having worn the watch for a summer.
