What a difference 2 days make.
Saturday:
Today Monday:
That's up about 12 inches or 30 cm. No apocalypse, but I say it calls for the "river" watch!

Stay safe out there. River watch is always a fun time wondering how high the water will go. In my younger years, family had a house boat on the Mississippi and used to monitoring the water levels during the floods. Most years flooding wasn't bad, other years it wiped small communities out.

And playing soccer, they always built the outdoor complexes in flood plains so know about the fast rising levels.

This picture was taken in 2017 when we had the 500 year flood, unprecedented levels of water rising. Think it was around 12 in of rain during the day and kept raining for a few days.

This is one of the local fields with the top of score board and flag pole tops poking out. Believe the score board is 20 ft in height.

@Lou P where is this, what river? Here in North East Wisconsin we've had quite a bit of rain shortly after ~30 inches of snow melt...lots of flooding here too!

With a massive thanks to an Internet Watch Friend who posts in other fora ( @fenris69), he mended this Seiko after my failed attempts.

Seiko 6619 - 8010 from April 1965 (turned 61 this month) in gold plated glory. Full government name Seiko Sportsmatic 5 6619 - 8010 Weekdater 21 Jewels.

@Lou P, stay safe out there and I hope there's no loss of anything. I suspect you're somewhere to the north and likely east of the Centre of the Universe

The 1035 & Railmaser combo didn’t last for a day, as the FOIS end piece doesn’t compliment lyre lugs like at all.

Good to have a plan B.🛠
