I got this Seamaster too near the phone and it magnetized. I don't live close enough to a watch shop to pop in and have it tended so I ordered out a demagnitizer from off of Ebay for $10.80.
I am now a "watchmaker!" Easy peasy! I demagnatized the watch yesterday afternoon and it is keeping excellent time today. I will wear it another day to see how well it holds.
