A brand perhaps under-represented brand herein. Rodania. But with @CalgaryJim having shown a Rodania a very brief time ago, I decided it was time to show another Calgary Rodania. This one uses the same ETA calibre 955 quartz movement that Bulova used in their 955Q series of railroad approved, railroad standard watches. Canadian 24-hour dial, screw down crown.

The Fleamarket-Season is starting. My todays catch: ANKRAmatic Concorde. Nice Lumina, no loss at all, even the small dot at the 3.

Nice! What makes the dial Canadian Doug?
Nothing specific about this particular dial. But the 24-hour dial is often referred to as a “Canadian” dial. Time service rues for Canadian railroads often mandated 24-hour dials. Especially CPR which mandated 24-hour dials system wide in 1969. CPR converted all railroad standard clocks then in service to a silk screened aluminum 24-hour dial in 1969.

Out with Phoebe before fully embracing an afternoon of sports on TV. Red Sox are looking good; C’s have some challenging late season games getting ready for the playoffs, and not to mention four (mad-props to the Women’s tournament- more basketball!!!) Elite Eight games going on as well. Holy crap; so, so awesome.
