Visited Croydon (London) Airport, the first international airport in the world and a splendid example of Art Deco architecture. Many of the protocols still used in commercial air traffic control today originated there (e.g. Q-codes). To top it off, our guide had a lovely Breitling Navitimer that he received as a retirement gift!

It's "Well duh" Tuesday here today.

I went out to look into potential frost damage to new foliage and garden plants. I took the appropriate Speedy photo, wearing the appropriate color of St. Patrick's Day shirt, but failed to post earlier.

The small celeste fig sustained some damage to tender foliage in our early morning low of 30F.
