166.0163 from 1973 (72, I can't remember). Super clean award watch that saw little use until I got my grubby hands on it. Based on the engraving, it sat for 4 or 5 years as new. Love the sweep of the second hand (28.8k cal 1010).
Don't wear it often enough and I'm pondering moving it on to acquire a stainless C-Type.

Fun fact: DOFASCO wasn't it's legal name until the 80s, just the acronym for Dominion Foundries and Steel Company.

2025 finds (166.0121) are starting to arrive back from the service 😀

Appreciate the reference #; that is an amazing case and dial! Added to the list.

Good idea but two bits of advice - if you don’t mind my giving it.

First, buy a C-case and bracelet together. It’s cheaper in the long run and you won’t spend time like I did, looking for the correct bracelet and end links at high prices.

Second, don’t get rid of your 0163. I started of my watch collection with a steel 166.041 and it’s a very reliable ‘keeper’ with a 565 movement. And it still looks great and works fine.

Mancessorizing with the little 32mm, blue dialed, faceted crystal, Seiko quartz that I believe my cat sent to me, as weird as that sounds. And that sentimentality is the only reason any watch has gotten the Explorer off my wrist since purchased last September.

Stamping away at a belt. Speedy unaffected by the banging.

You're brave, there are some people who would question whether or not such an activity is safe to engage in while wearing a watch. 🤣
