Old one. Marked Arvida. Arvida is a location in Quebec. Not necessarily linked to the watch.

Anyway, perhaps we should have a Arvida Sub Forum.

Haven't enjoyed wearing this one on a Mysterious MuDu Monday in a while.

The "George Martin" model Mudu. Will try to promote that as a MuDu collectors' term. We'll see if that catches on like the "Paul Newman" Daytona, the "Nina Rindt" or "Eric Clapton" Universal Genève Compax watches, the "Schumacher" Omega Speedmaster Racing, or the "Steve McQueen" Heuer Monaco. We'll see how that works out for Mudu value in the vintage watch world, heh!

Martin seems to be wearing his on black perlon.

The bracelet is a modern Tissot model but if fits my wrist perfectly.

This was purchased via the Recommended Vintage OMEGA WATCHES On EBAY.

1977 198.0112 with a new custom strap from @Duracuir1. Big thanks to him for sorting it (8mm drop from lugs to stock buckle).

Have a good week, all.

I know I could Google this but that wouldn't be a fun, who is George Martin?

Just arrived today. Dubey & Schaldenbrand Aerodyn Duo. Not a popular brand, but I love it.

Flying low today, after a lengthy session in the chair of a dental surgeon, for the extraction of an impacted molar. Came out in two pieces ! Ouch! Freezing is coming out, and I’m beginning to feel it. Time for a diversion. Today, I’m wearing my 70 year old survivor Omega bumper automatic. What you see is only part of the watch that came my way. It was rough! It looked as though someone had set out to deliberately destroy it. Gold filled case all chewed up, dial a mess, but surprisingly the bumper automatic movement only needed a mainspring and service. I found the case, bracelet, dial, one hand, etc., in my stash so this is the result. Generic crown and crystal, I’m not a purist. It’s a good runner.

The snow has seemed to stop, for the most part, still a little blowy…. Snow removal in progress. Hope the Forum has a safe evening.
