Everyone seems to be wearing wrist watches today. I’m all for parity, so in addition to two wrist watches, I’ll wear one of my Hamilton 992Bs. Steel case, melamine dial, short on pulchritude, but I rather like it. Likely from the late 1950s or early 1950s.

After some minor adjusting to hairspring concentricity, this one it dead on after 48 hours!

Hard to see but, Caught the ISS orbiting overhead approximately at the 1pm mark above my new Speedy Moonwatch last night 🌛

That’s impressive. I never, for a moment, imagined that it would be visible or photographable, and thanks for the direction to look up from 1 🙏

That strap really sets this piece off. I have a Marvin Revue from my Grandad. Really impressed by this one 😍
Strap is from Veblenist, Howard (a member here) really makes some outstanding straps!!! I have several from him and love the quality and
look.👍

Well, I was so planning not to buy a watch at today’s fair… and then this landed on my wrist. Pretty rare, I believe.

(Quick snap doesn’t do this 60(!) year old watch justice…)

The ISS is trackable here NASA ISS and through a bunch of other apps. We usually get a good visible pass here once or twice a month. On a clear day/night, you can watch the entire pass, which takes about 3 to 5 minutes. I’ve even made contacts with the ISS through ham radio. Even after hundreds of passes, I still find it amazing. Can’t wait for Artemis II launch next month.
Ham & Space Geek, out… 🤓

A free watch to me, the caseback wouldn't fit on. A couple of bangs with a seriously big hammer, surprisingly, took the dent out enough to allow the caseback to fit again. I forgot to put a gasket in place, don't even know if it should have had one but not taking a chance again to remove the caseback again.

Full size regular hammer on the left for proportions.
