I like how you think, but I went even more rogue. New arrival is the 2296.80 tri-metal...woohoo!
It may be a gaudy for some, but over the years it's really grown on me. Plus @dsio 's story on these and his love for this particular variant was also an enabler. Ash posted this one on the Recommended Modern Omega's on Ebay thread about a month ago which got me to pursue it, so thank you!
First watch for me that's come through the Ebay Authenticy Guarantee. Didn't add any value to me, but at least they don't seem to have damaged it.

The pair! 😁
One of my favourites, congratulations!

The one that started me on my Omega journey in Reno, NV at the Zales in the Park Lane Mall in 1996. Might've been the steel version, though. I ended up with a newer steel version years later, sold it and later got a 2298.80. It still looks absolutely wonderful.

WRUW "Tonight". Too dressy for the office, so wearing my Omega De Ville Prestige 861 Chronograph in 18k. Part of a trio!

Beautiful with flat bracelet!! Is it Forstner?
No, it is a Speedmaster 57 bracelet. I wanted something different than the 3861 bracelets for this one.
