I noticed these anew about a month ago. Knew they were around, but didn't really appreciate them. Saw one again and was smitten with how gorgeous it is. Kindof understated elegance. Unlike a solid gold Speedy, I get the sense that this could still be a tool watch during the day, and also be a dress watch at night.

Great photo. It captures the beauty and makes me want to see more, which is the sign of a great design.

I sold my 145.022 so this and the SM300 (service parts build) have to fill my vintage desires. Wouldn't mind a ~40mm vintage dress watch, but they're practically nonexistent.
