Today, and for the last 7 1/2 days, either stationary, face up for 12 hours, or in my watch pocket for 12 hours. It is 20 seconds fast, today. Pretty good for a 117 year old watch that the guy I bought it from, didn’t want! That is a gain of less than ~ 3.75 seconds per day. 1 of 2,500 CPR, 17-jewel, lever set, 1892 Walthams produced.

Well! Today is the eleventh day since last re-set. Presently 25-seconds fast. Well within railroad standards. 117 years old and performing as it did when factory fresh! Worn 12 hours, stationary face up for 12 hours. Rate varies from a couple seconds slow to a couple seconds fast, but average rate about 2 seconds per day fast. Who really needs greater accuracy than that?

The scene of the crime. The young fella took it upon himself to set up the badminton net unfortunately he forget half the set so the net is only 4 feet high. Yesterday we played and we went full out Olympic style diving and doing everything possible to prevent shuttlecock from hitting the ground.

I remember now my surgeon saying “just don’t do dumb things and the pain will be tolerable.” I dived on my left side 19 times yesterday my ribs are yelling at me. Should be fine by tomorrow I’m hoping

Last night of Amsterdam Dance Event, a vintage speedy is still perfectly suited to the occasion.

Nato forever. I never forget it when I go diving.

Enjoy both.
