Was going to be a Rolex day but I ran across my steal your Seiko which I haven’t worn in quite some time and was amazed it was on the money time wise. Very impressive. Took it out of the dim watch box to charge up and get some air. My only solar watch and I find it very well made and accurate.
Someone mentioned “hummers” earlier. I thought “why not”. I’d worn my 54-year old Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King Date for several weeks, since I serviced it. I settled on my 61 year old Bulova Accutron. This one came to me from @Laneside in Scotland who’d worn it some, but had the misfortune of getting it wet! When it arrived, it was rusty. I serviced the original movement, but I didn’t succeed in returning it to health. I went to my movement bank and selected a replacement movement which I returned to health. This Accutron is unlike any I recall having seen before. The case is gold shell over stainless, and appears to have had little wear. ❤️ it!
