Years ago, the NAWCC Bulletin publication did an article on the 21-jewel Timex movements. The article shows the manual wind version. The DeLong escapement with vertical pallet stones was used in this movement. This escapement shows up periodically in watches by makers like the E Howard company.

Been wearing this Constellation 157.0001 the last few days, I recently bought the 2041 mesh bracelet from Japan and for me it completes the look. An ultra-thin watch (with the 3mm "thick" 712 movement) on a very light bracelet is a good match.
