Felt like a return to my original favorite vintage brand of watch so a '54 Longines 19AS in its 14kt gold case is chosen. I've had this one for a long time.
Haven't worn this ST1 for awhile, one of the more unique Speedmasters.....everything is satin brushed and finished except the Omega logos on the dial, crown and buckle, a real tool watch in appearance.
Three of us are doing an exhibit of railroad standard wrist and pocket watches, and railroad standard clocks over the week end. I’ll wear two watches. My mid 60s Accutron Spaceview wrist watch, and an 1892 Waltham CPR pocket watch (on an @DaveK mystery lanyard). The exhibition is to be part of one of the largest railroad celebrations in Canada.
