Again at my favorite dumpling restaurant which located in the old town area,we were having 3 kind of stuffings, squid lamb & beef. It seems tourists and temporary residents love this place as well.

A flea market purchase requires a more detailed story. Where did you find this gem?
Franklin Mills Flea in Philly. A retired watchmaker and his wife had a table - mostly quartz and cheaper neo-vintage type stuff. This one was the only one that really jumped out to me. The dial and crystal are a bit worse for wear, but I think the case is actually pretty nice. He popped it open with a box cutter for me (while holding a sandwich in one hand 😅) and the movement looked right and clean enough, so I bought it for $80. Seems to be setting and keeping decent enough time. A new crystal and strap will do a lot for it I think. I'll try to post some more photos when I get a chance

A throwback to last fall when I had a North Korean C-shape Connie, think I will keep it if I ever come across one again...

feeling a bit sad tonight, had to euthanize our Maine Coon cat this afternoon, she had been going down hill the last few months and about 6 days ago stopped eating and had become totally lethargic.
We had discovered a small lump about 4 weeks ago that then very quickly progressed to a very large lump so an aggressive and spreading cancer and with her run down age I had determined medical intervention would be pointless.

Main coons unlike other cats that tend to disappear to die will seek you out and get close to you when they are in extremis and I knew when the time came to make the decision to let her go difficult though it was that it was entirely the right and only choice as she was starting to exhibit discomfit which was quite heartbreaking.

I took this photo just 2 days ago as I knew it would be her last.

Farewell Harriet you did not have a good start to life and it left you scarred but your gentle personality will be missed by many family members and friends.
