My Hamilton Electric Everest model has run now, for about ten days, since I put a battery in it. It is an atrocious time keeper, gaining roughly two hours a day. But it RUNS! Designed by industrial designer Richard Arbib (not Airb&b) for Hamilton. Just one of many of the firms that hired him for his expressive designs. He worked with General Motors, when he and Harley Earl put fins on the 1948 Cadillac, a harbinger of things to come in car design the lasted for about 15 years. Come to think of it, I wonder if he influenced the modern trend to garish watch designs?

X-33 for a nerdy day of painting miniatures and vintage arcades with my kid.

Hello Forum Friends! Haven’t been on OF in a hot minute; it’s nice to see familiar wrists, and catch up on how everyone has been, and what’s being worn. Here’s one reason I’ve been busy, our new puppy Phoebe.

Phoebe’s Dad is a Great Pyrenees, and her Mama is a yellow lab/Siberian Husky mix. A new puppy was followed by a new watch, first watch purchase of 2025.

My first meteorite dialed watch, and my first Formex watch, and I dig it. Lastly, since this is Omega Forums…

Have great days, nights OF!

This reminds me of the bedside clock I had as a child - sadly I can't recall the brand. The time would change by the numbers flipping over just like the train schedule would.
