·My Hamilton Electric Everest model has run now, for about ten days, since I put a battery in it. It is an atrocious time keeper, gaining roughly two hours a day. But it RUNS! Designed by industrial designer Richard Arbib (not Airb&b) for Hamilton. Just one of many of the firms that hired him for his expressive designs. He worked with General Motors, when he and Harley Earl put fins on the 1948 Cadillac, a harbinger of things to come in car design the lasted for about 15 years. Come to think of it, I wonder if he influenced the modern trend to garish watch designs?
