·The second of two on my wrists today. This is my one owner Rolex Air-King Date, won in a Rolex sales contest 54 years ago. It came with a stainless steel bezel. In 2021, I remembered I had acquired a new old stock, genuine 14-karat gold bezel. I decided to commemorate 50 years of ownership by fitting the gold bezel to the Oyster-Date, thereby creating my gold anniversary Rolex. All original, except the bracelet. My son ruined the original bracelet. (To this day, I have no recollection of how I came into possession of the gold bezel. I know I didn’t have to pay the $575.00 price on the Rolex envelope!)
