Bought this for my wife as a special occasion gift - arrived today and had to take it for a spin before handing it over. You know, quality control and what not 😉.

1970’s Omega f300hz Geneve Chronometer ref: 198.0068.169

I’m a bit of a f300 head and while she loves the look and feel of vintage, she isn’t the biggest fan of setting a watch every time she wants to wear it (crazy, I know). So vintage electronic really checks a lot of boxes.

Here it is delivered, looks like a hit!

That’s a beautiful watch. I recently came across one and tried to get the case back off using the correct tool and turning it clockwise…didn’t budge. Is this model one that has to be turned to the right/clockwise to be loosened.

Thanks

This new aquisitions sharp facets and brushing lets me stare at it all day.
But it definitely needs a new strap - any color and material suggestions that make it pop? 😊

This watch is just so shiny!
I've had a few comments so far this week wearing it.

I've been resizing the expanding bracelet on a new Omega F300Hz Geneve Chronometer but today the Beaucroft Element Forest Green has wrist duty.
