@Spruce - UltraChrons make great daily wearers 😀

I don't think I've shown this one here, but I'm wearing it today - a 1968 (according to the movement serial number) Ref. 8022 on the original bracelet. I was really happy to find this one, because I had been looking for a square UltraChron for quite some time.

Another favourite today. This one thanks to @Laneside in Scotland. This 61 year old watch brought back to life with a replacement movement. A feature not often seen on this model………a gold shell case. Every time I look at it, I am hardly able to believe it is as old as it is. I suspect a previous owner gave up on it after it proved troublesome, and was unable to find anyone to repair it (quite a common problem with Accutrons).

A new watch to go with my new book 😉

I just looked up your book on Amazon. It is indeed new - a fascinating topic. I'll request it for my school library. Nice to see a fellow historian on these premises!

This in this afternoon, running very fast, probably needs a demag and a service. Bought from curiosity as I don't have this particular variation of the date calibre model.

A lovely evening to give the Lanco Fab Suisse an outing 👍
