Sorting through 80 railroad standard pocket watches and 24 railroad standard wrist watches, today. Preparing for the first of two train shows three of us do, each year. Time to park my Rolex Date-Just, and don my 1966 railroad approved Accutron 214 model. I acquired this one in a barter deal. My friend picked up this nearly NOS Accutron some years ago. I had a watch he wanted, so we swapped watches. This one has a 24-hour “Canadian” dial.

Only 50 km from where I live, did you try stroopwafels already?

My sister-in-laws family is from Germany and this is her favorite cookie. Sometimes Costco here stateside will have them during the holidays so we pick some up.... I have to say, quite delicious!
