After a not so great travel day yesterday (I was nowhere near Heathrow), today required a mandatory two rounds of coffee shop visits!

New arrival: Linen dial c-case. Needs a service for sure. I'm actually debating if I should return it...

New strap arrival. An Artem Hydroflex sailcloth which I acquired with the non AC in mind.

I like the sailcloth look but regular Artems eventually skunk up on me. This one is all-rubber so hoping for better.

Fits an Omega deployant nicely.

Not cheap though at $248 USD (yeah...the strap alone) but felt like giving it a try.
So far I like it a lot. Stay tuned...YaY
I am wearing my Seamaster with an Artem sailcloth strap as well today. They are nice. 馃槉

Agreed. I also picked up 2 more of their standard sailcloths. Another black for the POLM LE. And realizing they now make blue straps, I tried one of those too.

Funny thing is, on the Seiko 5, the strap costs about as much as the watch. 馃榿

Am I the only one besotted with Admiral 5 ***** (and Longines generally)?

I have two identical black dial versions of this and both produced in about 1970. Neither of the dials, nor their white/silver counterparts, show any signs of the deterioration that Omega black dials of similar age show.
