··Not in LA anymore.I neglected to post this WRUW from quite a while back, as I just found an archive of photos from an old cell phone.
One of our jobs as parents is to "launch" our children into what we hope is a happy, successful life. Here, the launching was more literal as I helped our daughter and son-in-law schlep gear to the base of Yosemite's El Capitan, before their pre-dawn blastoff for the summit.
They reached the top after spending five days/four nights working their way up the wall, more or less through the centre of the photo.
