I neglected to post this WRUW from quite a while back, as I just found an archive of photos from an old cell phone.

One of our jobs as parents is to "launch" our children into what we hope is a happy, successful life. Here, the launching was more literal as I helped our daughter and son-in-law schlep gear to the base of Yosemite's El Capitan, before their pre-dawn blastoff for the summit.

They reached the top after spending five days/four nights working their way up the wall, more or less through the centre of the photo.

Roamer Stingray 44 this morning in SS.
Found on FB in Sydney a couple of years back in near perfect condition but the condition easily out weighed the cost.

I was down to only one Dynamic, but then stumbled upon this bullseye variation.

Another 1680 pic today. But feeling better about taking this Sub out in the wild after finding another period correct part. Getting there...

New to me today , 1991 16610 with some nice patina and one previous owner . I'll probably wear it for a while then send it in for a good overhaul ,as it will be a long term keeper .
For several reasons, after it’s your long term keeper, DIBS.

Congrats!

Good Morning.. today I’m wearing a watch that was gifted to me by my neighbour it used to belong to her husband and when he passed she gave it to me. Me and Charlie spent many an hour out in the garden cutting the grass tending to the flowers for many years lots of great memories he had I thick Irish accent I could barely understand what he was saying most of the time but we became very good friends over the 30 years I knew them both….

This Seamaster languished in my sock drawer for ages but a change of strap has given it, to my mind, a far more contemporary look for a 1950 bumper
