Spent last night in abandoned buildings looking for people who wanted warm shelter. We used to send police in first but that causes everyone to run. When they see us they are usually cool and take up our offer. I can’t believe the ones who refuse, I feel like I’m getting frost bite just 5-10 minutes of talking to them. As long as they know who they are and the date, answer a few basic questions they can do as they wish. Possible arrest for trespass but I’m gone by then. The date is wrong on my watch which means I screwed up some paperwork

Update: My wife is still in India. My life is in shambles. 3rd day in a row of PB&J’s for the kids lunch’s. I fed them Taco Bell for lunch and a frozen pizza for dinner. The house is destroyed. Pretty sure I made one of them wear the same sweater today, that they wore yesterday….
