·This Accutron 218 day/date, likely from the early 1970s. I say likely, because it wasn’t running when I acquired it. The case back that was on it (which included the date) was from a different Accutron, and it was too shallow, impinging on the tuning fork. After a full service and a different case back, it is a good runner. The unusual style and the fumed dial sort of dates the watch. I luckily found a leather strap of the right colour.
