It was listed for sale as having a grey dial so I’m going to order straps in that colour, will just have to take a chance that I pick the right shade, I’m thinking dark grey, smooth matte finish. I get most of my straps from Tuns in Vietnam, very good prices so if it’s not ideal I’ll try again with a different shade.

I was evaluating an elderly patient today who was accompanied by her son. At some point during the conversation, the son said to me, “Nice Speedmaster!” I looked at his wrist and saw that he was wearing a Tudor FXD. I said “Nice Tudor!” The patient rolled her eyes and said something to the effect of, “I’m dying and the only thing my son and doctor care about are their stupid watches…”
