There are a couple of guys in Connecticut who have been breeding them like hamsters. Orange ones. Silver ones. Black ones.
Yes! That's the thread. Maybe if I search 'humping hampsters' and '146HP' 馃槈

For the European market. Speedmaster automatic circa 1990. Bezel 18-karat rose gold. Later today, the Daytona Cosmograph to show off to a brother collector.

Is that Speedy Auto a 145.022 for the Italian Market?
They made 500 only which is uber rare for anything Omega.

Tool watch guys don't seem to like any yellow or red gold on their watches but I think that black and gold dial is one of the best looking watches. PERIOD.

The case model # is 175.0033. I bought it pre-owned from a guy who bought it in Europe when he was on a honeymoon. I thought he told me it was bought in Germany, but that was 25 years ago! This one has the separate D D chronograph module in front of a calibre 3220 A Eta movement. It came with a dog-awful fake lizard strap on it. I added the correct Omega bracelet (all steel because the only two tone model was steel and yellow gold). The original movement was trouble from the start, so I had Omega replace the movement about 5 years ago. It runs like a charm, now.

Thanks for taking the time to write and explain. I've got a similar very limited edition Made for Italy only 145.022 with an 861. The dial is perfect.

#303 / 500. I think it's the best looking Speedmaster I've seen. To each his own, and all that 馃榾
