I recently posted a picture of 20 railroad standard wrist watches I had prepared for an exhibit. Among these watches there was a preponderance of Accutron 214 and 218 models, with assorted other quartz, manual wind, and automatic wind watches. Several days after I posted the picture, I received a PM from OB member Laneside of Scotland. He had an Accutron 214 from 1964 that was not operational, and that he hoped to find a new home for.
Well, after doing the necessary, here is the watch. It is unusual in this regard that the case is gold shell over stainless steel, and it shows very little wear. Love it! Thanks to Laneside!
