A DaveK "Mystery Braid" lanyard doing the duty this morning on another of the large 18size Hamiltons, the 21-jewel 940 from 1911. Still have the original receipt for purchase of my great grandfather's safe dated 1917 inside. It's still set to his combination.
The 940 has a nicely decorated movement with its characteristic "tire track" motif (my term).
