Sorry... this one will undoubtedly make the cut when I finally start curating the mess that is the MMMD "collection." The eventual unifying criterion will probably be that each piece will have to elicit a comment like yours here and something like "Porca paletta, che bello!" in the O&P "oggi al polso" threads. Then you've got a keeper. 😉
...But I'm sure there will be a few exemptions, loved only by me. 😀

·My prized beater was sent off to spa for a full Jedi service. (the force has been used by @JimInOz several times)
And Jim will testify my beaters are real beaters not like all those unscratched Seiko,s you city boys wear.

Send me your beaters for a week and i will give them some cred. Bashed on the side of the boat all day, scratched pulling crab pots and big fish in, covered in Bushmans (DEET mosquito spray) and sunscreen for days at a time,washed in salt water for 2 seconds each day and baked in the sun for weeks at a time
Ahhhh, I get it now. I'm a bit slow on the uptake. I didn't realize you two had a working relationship, for lack of a better way to put it.
Can I ask you a question Standy? I hope you don't say no 'cuz here I go: aren't you afraid of salt water crocs? They freak me the F out. I wouldn't sleep at night if I were you. I know there's like 100 different creatures which can kill you STAT where you dig around but those monsters scare the bejesus out of me...they look like they're from another planet.

·That's my neighbor, Bob. He's got the top AMC whatever (I think it's called an "Eagle") in the entire Northeast of America. He wins "best in" at every show he attends because his competition is...non existent.
Best part is it's his daily driver. Doesn't have a spec of rust on it. 100% original except for windshield wipers.

·Just popped a brand new croc on the Chronodato and the day-wheel pusher immediately took a bite out of it. Yes, I should have known, but this strap seemed thinner than the last and I thought I would get away with it.
Helpful hint: consider a strap that accepts curved (female) spring bars for your Chronodato, or have some matching shoe polish on hand.
