I’m wearing my most prized possession (21st present from my mother, who is no longer with us-I was 43 yesterday).
The villa in the distance, on the edge of the water is Villa Gaeta. It featured in James Bond ‘Casino Royale’

·Sipping a beer alone, staring at Lake Como from my friend’s place in Menaggio, Italy. Perfectly calm evening.
I’m wearing my most prized possession (21st present from my mother, who is no longer with us-I was 43 yesterday).

·Yesterday's funeral done and dusted ( well buried actually) to make light of a sad occasion.
My Aunty had 9 kids and more grand children and great grandchildren than you could poke a stick at and her generations husband had 9 brothers and sisters so 48 immediate family cousins so as you can imagine a very large attendance, strangely enough in this cell phone age no pictures! The dignity of funerals it's nice to see is preserved, weddings on the other hand....
So back to Seamaster today.
