·After having watched a 60-minute video on the Canadian Pacific/Kansas City (CPKC) steam locomotive # 2816 currently travelling from Calgary to Mexico City, I felt inclined to wear a pocket watch. So yesterday (Thursday) and today, I’ve been wearing my Keystone Howard series 11, 16-size, 21-jewel, lever set pocket watch on one of my @DaveK mystery braid lanyards. Rescued from a fate worse than death, I bought it from a fellow who didn’t want it to end up going to his scofflaw grandson! Not the most sought after Keystone Howard model, this one was patterned after a New York Standard (cheap) model, upgraded to railroad standard. Keystone Howard owned NYS. This is one of my favourite dials. One of three today. My Rolex Date-Just, Omega Speedmaster 345.0808 are the other two.
