One on each wrist today. The Rolex was put back into service on March 11, set to my iPad at that time and worn 24/7. In this picture, it has lost 1.5 seconds in 26 days without stopping or having been re-set. My Speedmaster 345.0808 with the gold plated calibre 853 movement and sapphire back is the other. I conditioned it 16 months ago. It was set to my iPad 18-hours ago, and worn continually since then. It is one second fast to my iPad. This is one for Ripley!

I don’t know how I’m going to cope today. My Rolex Oyster Date-Just is 3 seconds slow this morning, the total variation since having been set to time 28 days ago! And my Speedmaster 345.0808 has picked up 4 seconds in 5 days! Maybe I’ll dig out a quartz watch. (But I wonder if a quartz one would be better than the Rolex!)

The Constellation is the best choice for celestial observing on Eclipse Day.

Decided to give this a wind today. Then I put it back inside because I’m still doing heavy research on it.

Constellation won out for eclipse day. Too bad the clouds rolled in and ruined the show.

I can't help it. This watch on an overcast day is a dream.
