Tried this watch for fun as it matched the sweater. First time having a Rolex on the wrist - the size is quite nice! 😗

If there was such a thing as a beater, chores watch then this vintage 1919 Illinois A. Lincoln 21-jewel watch in a inexpensive and shabby, much "loved" case would be the one to use while doing weekend lawn chores, which is how it's serving today. Sporting a DaveK dark blue lanyard. The movement is quite nice, railroad grade and falling right below the Bunn Special in the Illinois 21-jewel pecking order. This one could have been a trainman's watch at one time. Or not.

I’d like to get one of these A. Lincoln’s. Super neat that they actually replicate his signature

We’re in Chattanooga, TN for our niece’s wedding this weekend, and it’s been nice to thaw our Winter bones in the early Spring sunshine of Tennessee. Chilling on our hotel deck with an attitude of gratitude.

The Christopher Ward Bel Canto continually surprises me with how fun it is and how different it is from my other watches.

I’ve decided that today is an Eterna day, but I’m undecided as to which so I anticipate rotating these two during today.

Luckily (or perhaps unluckily) I have, at present, only two Eterna which probably simplifies my dilemma.
