Had a doctor's visit today.

Could not decide which watch to wear. So I put three on. But the old leather strap on the snoopy broke.

Guess I need another 'Snoopy.'

Two of my perpetual calendars are going off to auction for the June sales in NYC, just taking them for a final spin before sending them off next week. Haven't decided on which House to go with, all three are very competitive in pre-sale estimates and the seller fees.

Lots of mid-century modern charm here: Alpha hands, chunky crown, crosshair dial, and those radial grooves in the hour ring carried through to the bezel. Circa 1957:

I don't know what others think, but I still find the AP quite a desirable watch to own and wear.

For what it is worth... This one cost more than a Rolex GMT in 1977. Today not so.

Mine does not have the correct bracelet but the clasp is the right one - and the bracelet is Seiko - and it fits well.

Easter Cleaning of the band saw. Seamaster 2254.50

Reflection from the saw's cover make the hands look blued.
Happy Easter to everyone.
