Great looking watch Steve👍
Cool as heck right? (I initially wrote Hell but I heard tings. It’s hot there).

Wittnauer Polara circa 1975. A former colleague bought a gold plated one around the same time as he bought a Submariner. The Polara was more expensive, according to him.

I will one day know for sure. He still has the watch, box and receipt. I paid $2.50 for mine at an antique store. Canuck owns one also.

Today, a Titanium Tissot from a thrift store. It was $10. Needed $180 to get going, but now it’s perfect.

The 1928 Illinois Bunn Special got the call as the town watch today. Pretty case and bow in white gold and a movement that rocks your world to see in person. Good enough to still time a choo choo!
