Well…it didn’t go too hot at my first drum lesson [a free trial] at School of Rock…on a positive note, my 1861 performed well [my first Speedy at my first drum lesson]…YAY…

…and on another positive note, the instructor felt sorry for me and let me keep the sticks [my first drum sticks]…YAY…

…AND on an additional positive note, I have the box AND papers for my first drum sticks…YAY…

(Are we seeing a Constellation in this photo?)

Keep at it Mad Dog! You'll get there. Promise me that you'll let me play accordion in your band.

Speedmaster put away to make way for the flightmaster. I found this Swissair doolie woollie thing. Must be from a key chain.

My $2.00 Certina (after much work and dial refinish) has been on my wrist for the past week, the longest I’ve worn it since I restored it. It has amazed me! The Kurth calibre 25-651, 21-jewel self-winder. About 60 years old.

Waiting patiently for tennis to be cool again in America. Actually a very well made watch. They look a little light but are not.

Visited Casa Milà and the still unfinished Sagrada Família basilica in Barcelona, both designed by architect Antoni Gaudi, famous for his Catalan Modernism style.

Today I felt like something different and threw on a nicely aged Citizen eco-drive perpetual. In most lighting this style is a dark Navy but the Sunburst thing effect throws off some interesting colors and the inner dial has started to tone more towards purple than it looked when it was new ~15 years ago.
