I've been looking at some pretty dramatic pictures on the news. Mudslides. The river is a torrent. Falling uprooted trees. I'd say you should be wearing your wet suit instead of that sweater. And a hard hat might not be over-doing it either!
I'll just assume your doing your best to stay safe.

So far, so good at El Rancho Jones. As is often the case with natural disasters, media reports seem to make things look much worse than they really are. Unless of course, it was your house that got hit with a mudslide. To keep things in perspective I remind myself of the extremely widespread damage and suffering caused when there is flooding along major North American rivers such as the Mississippi or Ohio; this makes our troubles in So.California seem relatively limited.
