It ended up raining so hard I had to revert to something more water proof.

Been a while since my last post... I have been wearing a classic, non-shock-protected Hamilton all week, and am now going for a similarly classic 1967 Hamilton Brockton. It's a 1950s model, really, but Hamilton made reissues in the 1960s for their Awards Division. The idea was that a company presented the watch to an employee, and the employee couldn't just step into a jeweller and see the same watch sold there - quite clever, actually. In this case, the watch was presented to someone who had been with the same company for 25 years, so using a model from the 1950s (which itself was a new version of a previous watch from the 1940s, the "Brock") fits the theme very well.

Wishing you all a great week-end!
