Thanks for the generous words. You hit upon the key features which made me jump on the opportunity to purchase it. Since I live in NC, the sky-blue is a natural fit, and the steel-bordered lumed indices, especially the shield-like ones at 12 and 6, are very distinctive.
I selected this dial colour simply because I thought it was cool, and because I didn't have any green-dialed watches. Later I realized it's the same colour as the first thing I learned to fly, so for me that's extra cool 😁
