In the mid 1960’s Hamilton acquired Buren Watch Co. The acquisition was heavily based on Buren’s movement portfolio and IP. This included the micro-rotor which later became a key element in the famous Caliber 11, the 1st automatic chronograph movement co-designed between Hamilton, Heuer and Breitling in 1969. In the late 60’s Hamilton kept the Buren brand, along with the Vantage brand for more economical pieces. (i.e. a Good, Better, Best type branding strategy). Here we have a ca. 1969 Buren Sport Diver (by Hamilton) - Ref. 32061 - powered by a Standard Time Corp cal. 47 mechanical movement (base cal. Durowe 471). This is near NOS, including the original sales sticker on the case back. These Buren Sport divers were identical to the Vantage Sport Divers of the same era, just positioned in between Hamilton and Vantage as far as branding and price.

~ 1967 Hinckley Bermuda 40 ~
Can we get a photo showing the full profile of the Hinckley? I'm betting that she's a stunner.

Today I’m wearing this Christiaan van der Klaauw - Planetarium. I’ve looked for this watch for more than ten years, and this year I found this one!

On the Dutch watch forum, Horlogeforum.nl, I wrote quite an elaborate topic about this watch with lots of background information. I’m thinking about translating it, some adjustments and posting a topic here on OF! Such a special watch imho. 👍

Stunning! Super impressive from a horology standpoint, and very very pleasant to look at. Thanks for showing and I'd love to read the translated article.
