I wore the lil' Subbie in the office for the first time today, figuring the funky strap, narrow bezel, domed acrylic, and lack of cyclops would allow it to fly well under the radar. I'm certain nobody noticed, or cared. 😀

Rating a newly restored Gilbert (Connecticut) jeweller’s regulator. Seconds beat, weight driven, eight-day, wall mounted clock usually used by railroad watch inspectors circa 1890-1900. What better to use as a time reference than my circa 1966 Bulova Accutron 214 Spaceview. Pendulum on this clock weighs 25 pounds! It goes home on Saturday along with a sizeable invoice. (I’ll be glad to see it gone!)

Seamaster 2254.50 ?

Sorry guys but the watch I posted was a fake. Be careful out there.

Fake 2254.50 from the net.

My real 2254.50. Not a big difference. But the fake one have the He valve differently mounted and the lume pip is different as well.
