Going on vacation for the next month so looking through the watch boxes I decided to wear the Daytona which doesn't get as much wrist time as it should, it's very accurate and very comfortable, an easy watch to wear.
I’ve owned this one for nearly 50 years, and I don’t remember ever showing in this thread. It is a 6/0 size, 9-jewel, 1942 model Waltham made circa 1943 according the the pocketwatchdatabase site. There are no markings to indicate it was military, and I suspect the case back may not be original to the watch. Manual wind, very basic, but a good runner after having been serviced today.
