Just got my first pocket watch:

According to the serial number, I believe it was made around 1909.

Here's my Waltham 1894 in 14k that I picked up for 100 bills around 20 years ago in an antique shop.



Incidentally, I just entered your watch into a query on the NAWCC-info.org site, and it called yours a model 1897. I'm not sure but perhaps the model number is the year in which they started production.

Even though I've had this watch for a while, I'm quite clueless about them!
