Knocked out by the gorgeous twin Smiths featured earlier I was inspired to fire up my own humble Smiths De Luxe this morning.

Just a humble vintage Seamaster today (14759-61). Honest and understated.

This may not be the prettiest dial in the collection but it is most certainly the sharpest case. And the 2648 reference is dear to me.
My watchmaker says it is impossible but I swear that I can pick it up fully unwound and notice that it is running before the strap is tightened, without any shaking.
It came from Spain with a low crown, possibly wrong for the reference, but I like it all the same.
